The Hamman is one of the most amazing spas in Atlanta. Our founder & Medical Director Dr. Frederick Work of Atlanta Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Consultants has blueprinted a spa that has all the luxuries of a peaceful day spa setting however, has added a medical touch to each of our treatments to insure optimum results in a very tranquil & gender friendly atmosphere. The Hammam is located in one of Atlanta 's Historical settings - “Baltimore Row “, nestled amongst Atlanta 's spectacular skyline.

THE STORY BEGINS:

HAMMAM ~ (dates back to the Roman era) in middle eastern areas has been recognized for it's healing qualities & is often described as the SILENT DOCTOR or Spreader of warmth. A Hammam began as a bath house for predominately the males of its area ~ a place to go enjoy the company of others ~ a place to share ideas ~ but first and foremost a place to relax ~ re-energize ~ escape the stresses of the day & a place to come to experience inner piece with ones self and reflect on task set before them and or retrospection.

DR. WORK has created the inner-core of this medical day spa as his interpretation of the original Hammams in this now modern setting. Our men & women's area houses whirlpools ~ steam ~ saunas ~ steam showers & offers a cool shallow pool with misting sprays of cooled water to facilitate total relaxation. This area provides private showers & vanity area for our patrons, awarding a peaceful ~ stress free ~ re-entry to reality.

THE HAMMAM also presents a couple's suite that surpasses any Atlanta has witnessed to date. Hosting a view of Atlanta ~ private steam ~ private showers ~ vanity area ~ private facilities & a room for two equipped to facilitate any of our spa treatments being performed simultaneously.
